About The Center

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday                                               8:00am - 5:00pm CST

The Center and The University of Tennessee observe most major holidays as well as a five-day closing period the week of Christmas.

About the Staff:

   The UT Drug Information Center is always staffed with a licensed pharmacist faculty member who supervises three Doctor of Pharmacy students assigned for month-long clerkship experiences. The students are in their final year of a Doctor of Pharmacy program, which consists of a strong emphasis on therapeutics in the year prior to their clerkship year. There are three additional faculty members who serve as backup in supervising and running the center. At any one time a minimum of 3.5 full time employees are dedicated to direct provision of drug information services.
